Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Stephanie Beecham, Carolina Munroe... Joan Crawford, Hammer
Tom Chantrell
Hammer relocate Count Dracula to the King's Road, Chelsea where he inhabits a deconsecrated church. Flares, mod fashions and the lure of the local hippies make for a fascinating period piece. Trog features Joan Crawford in her last film and may be billed because of the link with the stone-age man living in the 20th Century and also learning about modern life. It would be good to think that these were two films dealing with life in different cultures and out of the real time frame. This original folded film poster first release 1972 Hammer film poster was specifically made for cinemas showing the double-bill at the time of the first release of Dracula AD 1972 fittingly in the year 1972 and combining with it the film 'Trog' which had had a small release 2 years prior. The Chantrell artwork features his trademark day-glo colouring designed to catch the eye. This folded paper poster does have fold wear as seen but displays well and was printed in England by R. J. Wallman co LTD.
