Dracula

In 1958 Count Dracula was shot in vivid gory colour for the very first time. The Hammer house of horror with the glorious direction of Terence Fisher created a fresh and powerful vision for Dracula to reinterpret the 1931 Bella Lugosi version. This powerful film poster gives a 1968 re-interpretation of the role of the Count with a menacing look, blood dripping fangs and his name in gory blood under the body of his victim. The full moon complete with the bat is evident at the top right together with the nevermore true branding "Technicolor".
