Diamonds Are Forever

This star studded film poster features diamonds aplenty with a blaze of colour and action. From a distance it almost appears that Connery has a halo! This was well deserved because he did after all donate his $1 million lure-back fee to the Scottish International Educational Trust. The ever popular Sean Connery was welcomed back as James Bond by cinema goers in their droves and this original British quad film poster was there at the time in December 1971. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham with gorgeous depth of colour and great flesh tones. There is a closed tear which we have repaired to the reverse with archival restoration tape on the bottom right "Diamonds Are Forever", a small residue of brown tape can be seen on the front. There is a tiny nick at the top centre border as seen but if you are looking at these flaws then you are really missing the point as you should be looking at the wonderful McGinnis artwork where all the action is!
