Decision Against Time / The Man in the Sky

This is the 1957 litho printed film poster picturing Jack Hawkins as the test pilot at the controls of a prototype aeroplane in this Ealing film produced by Michael Balcon. Although the film was made in black and white and part of the film poster has a still from the film there is also a dramatic painting of the aeroplane and of his wife played by Elizabeth Sellars. It was common in the 50's for black and white films to feature full colour artwork on the film posters and this was never a problem with the cinema going public. Folded condition as issued to the cinema.
