Sam Peckinpah not only directs Westerns like "The Wild Bunch" - he is equally adept at portraying the German retreat on the Russian Front. Possibly the strongest anti-war film since "All Quiet on the Western Front". Printed in England by W. E. Berry Ltd. This is the original first release film poster from 1977 with graphic depiction of the suffering endured on the Eastern front. This was an Anglo-German Co-Production serving to highlight the futility of war - nobody really wins and everybody suffers. Excellent folded condition as issued to the cinema with no pinholes, just a slight nick at the top left border edge.
