Lilli Palmer and Silvia Syms are painted as the nuns helping Jewish children escape the Nazi's in Italy during WWII. Ralph Thomas, himself a Jew, is the Director of a talented cast and the film deals with the sincerity that the subject matter demands. There are one or two small areas of paper loss around the borders but this is a striking old quad with vibrant colour.
