Columbus / 1492: Conquest of Paradise

This rare double-sided British Quad teaser film poster was produced in limited quantities for the light box in the cinema and is even rarer because it bears the title Columbus for the classic historical drama which was to be re-named "1492: Conquest of Paradise". This film poster is interesting as it pictures just the sea and director Ridley Scotts film in 1992 marked the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the New World. The Vangelis soundtrack added to the wonder and mystery of this great spectacle.
