1971
William Smith, Tony Young, Michael Haynes, motorbike, Marvin Gaye, green berets, iron cross
This is one of those really wild exploitation film posters from 1971 which would never be allowed today and is now popular. A first release 1971 litho printed American poster for a film which was shown in New Zealand and came to us from that cinema complete with a censor stamp at the bottom left. The censor stamp does not mean much as we can see what looks like a potential rape scene, a Nazi iron cross worn by the perpetrator who we think is then hunted down by the green berets and meets his fate at the lower left of the poster which the cinema manager has added his own censorship with black felt pen. An interesting film poster in the history of International cinema with a story to tell. Can you believe that Marvin Gaye also appeared in this film?!
