Chantrell artwork for this wonderful Wayne image and full colour Western tribute to cattle ranching including at the foot the fight between the hero John Wayne and the villain Forrest Tucker. John Wayne plays John Chisum here in the tale of the first man to hire Billy the Kid played by Geoffrey Deuel, not named on the poster although pictured riding a horse in the centre whose head cleverly blends in with John Wayne's neckerchief. This original film poster has had the benefit of being linen backed which has removed the original fold lines and restored the poster to an archival standard.
