Cast a Dark Shadow

This 1955 original British quad film poster was printed in England by the Haycock Press Ltd. of London S.E.5. "No woman could resist his FATAL charm!" is a reference to Dirk Bogarde who murders his first wife for her money and then moves on to marry the impressive Margaret Lockwood who proves more of a challenge to dispose of. Lewis Gilbert directs this thriller from the play "Murder Mistaken" by Janet Green. Margaret Lockwood although giving a magnificent performance would only feature once again and this was over 20 years later. The film was made in black and white but this glorious film poster includes colour to tempt the cinema goer. Two or three pinholes in each corner.
