Cast a Dark Shadow

This 1955 original British quad film poster was printed in England by the Haycock Press Ltd. of London S.E.5. "No woman could resist his FATAL charm!" is a reference to Dirk Bogarde who murders his first wife for her money and then moves on to marry the impressive Margaret Lockwood who proves more of a challenge to dispose of. Lewis Gilbert directs this thriller from the play "Murder Mistaken" by Janet Green. Margaret Lockwood although giving a magnificent performance would only feature once again and this over 20 years later.
