Carry On Cabby

"Carry on Cabby" was released in England in 1963 and was of course a very British thing. The Americans never experienced the film until 1967 and this is the artwork on the US one sheet film poster. The pen & ink drawings are more Americanised as portrayed by the shape of the car and more particularly the American gent penned next to it. You can't keep a good girl down though and the "Glamcab girls" are eye-catching in their scantily clad smart uniforms and ankle boots - not the most practical of outfits but pleasing to the eye.
