Callan

This 1974 first release British quad film poster features an ingenious portrait of Edward Woodward in the role of "Callan". British artist Tom Chantrell adopts a completely revolutionary style here which he employs for all the characters and even the action shots. This highly individual style could be referred to as brush strokes and we have never seen it employed by the artist on this scale in any of his other work. "Callan" was an extremely popular gritty television series before it became this EMI film Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham this one is in folded condition as supplied to the cinema with no pinholes.
