Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Perhaps the most successful Western of all time and certainly two of the most loveable rogues pictured here with Paul Newman as Butch Cassidy together with partner Robert Redford as The Sundance Kid. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham this is a true piece of cinema history. The film poster is truly atmospheric with great use of colour picturing the final scene of the shoot-out in this classic western. The title typography and tag lines are superb and there is even a great inset picture of the bicycle scene which featured the memorable music by Burt Bacharach "Raindrops keep falling on my head". The bottom section of the film poster which was largely just white has been trimmed by 2 1/2 inches. Folded British quad from the first release in 1969 in very clean condition and with great colours.
