1967

Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, dir: Arthur Penn

"Bonnie and Clyde" was to scoop ten Oscar nominations and become the Box-office hit of 1967 Faye Dunaway is pictured as Bonnie Parker together with Warren Beatty as Clyde Barrow. Michael J. Pollard is C. W. Moss, Gene Hackman - Buck Barrow, Estelle Parsons plays Blanche. This gangster picture was one of the first to realistically portray graphic screen violence and director Arthur Penn depicted the era of the American mid-west during the Depression and the gun toting gang members perfectly. This is the first release X certificate British quad film poster from 1967 including a very fitting snapshot of the gang members and a fantastic script describing the scene perfectly. Bright colours on this British quad designed to catch the eye and with a brilliant still photo of the "Bonnie and Clyde" gang posing in front of their getaway car. A great piece of cinema history this one is reasonably priced as it has a number of pinholes throughout the poster including on the artwork. These pinholes don't detract from the artwork and the poster displays well.
