This 1966 British quad film poster features an excellent portrait of James Mason in the role of Count Von Klugermann together with the signature of James Mason very clearly written by him above his portrait. The British artist responsible for this first release 1966 film poster was none other than the great Frank McCarthy. The in flight photography by director John Guillermin was superb and the aerial excitement is fantastically captured here by the artist who portrays the first world war fighter ace action brilliantly. This classic Twentieth Century Fox film remains one of the finest first world war films. The film poster was printed in England by Stafford & Co of Nottingham and London with excellent colours and just a small area of reinformecmet to the reverse of the right corner fold.
