Ben Hur

Spectacular early 1959 special mylar Metro Goldwyn Mayer film poster. This very early example of a double-sided poster created to facilitate a back light is a rare find. The image is very detailed and clear and draws reference to the 70mm widescreen and full stereophonic sound picturing the Oscar statuette prominently and proclaiming "Winner of 11 Academy Awards including "Best Picture"". The poster is in unfolded condition but does have three small closed tears at the bottom right measuring between 1 and 2 inch plus a black stain in the bottom border. A great piece of cinema history.
