Battle of the River Plate / Pursuit of the Graf Spee

Peter Finch is pictured here pulling off a marvellous performance as a noble German officer Captain Langsdorff skippering the German pocket battle ship the "Graf Spee". Also pictured is John Gregson as British Captain Bell who is in pursuit of the ship. This British half sheet was printed in Great Britain by W. E. Berry of Bradford and written for the famous Second World War film from 1956. Written, produced and directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. Marvellous full colour film poster in excellent rolled condition with no fading and no pinholes.
