Battle of Midway

Stunning British quad dating from 1976 for the brilliant American documentary style film for which John Ford did some of the camera work and went uncredited for the direction. The highly detailed full colour artwork portrays the Japanese aircraft carrier taking major hit from the American Air Force together with many surrounding ships and planes in what was the decisive battle between the navy's of the US and Japan during the Second World War for control of the Pacific. This original British Quad is folded condition as issued to the cinema. Printed by W. E. Berry of Bradford.
