Assault on a Queen

This 1966 first release British quad film poster for "Assault on a Queen" features full colour artwork by the great Italian artist Renato Fratini. The film follows the success of "Ocean's 11" where Frank Sinatra held up five casinos in Las Vegas - here we can see him rescuing a U-boat as pictured from the shallows of the ocean to stage a robbery of the Queen Mary cruise liner together with the rich passengers onboard. Stunning artwork from Fratini with printing by S & D. S. Ltd in England. Very bright colours with areas of conservation tape which have been applied to the reverse on the cross folds on the middle and upper plus a number at the edges in the border. Please note there are many pinholes including on the artwork but despite these the poster displays well.
