Alexander the Great

This 1956 British quad features the CinemaScope logo as the registered trademark of the 20th Century Fox film corporation while this US and Spanish co-production bears the United Artists logo. Richard Burton is pictured with the helmet as Alexander while the bearded Fredric March is painted in the role of Philip of Macedonia. Claire Bloom is pictured as Barsine. This is an early CinemaScope quad with wonderful colours. Historic tape marks in the borders.
