Across the Bridge

This is the first release 1957 British quad film poster for the Rank film "Across the Bridge". The film was based on the story by Graham Greene and directed by Ken Annakin. The finely detailed artwork is really colourful with a high degree of perspective and detail portraying the events on the bridge. Film posters printed to the edge without a border were always more expensive to produce. This folded condition British quad has excellent colours with no fading and a small matchstick head size hole at the centre fold on the left together with a few small closed tears at the bottom which have been repaired with conservation tape. There is a little stress on the left hand side of the fold line across Rod Steiger's shoulder.
