A Shot In The Dark

Peter Sellers is photographed here as Inspector Clouseau in the starring role following his scene stealing role in "The Pink Panther" the year before. Sellers is pictured here together with George Sanders the wealthy millionaire resident of a Paris apartment where a murder has occurred together with the saucy chambermaid Elke Sommer who is the prime suspect. This first release highly coloured glossy Italian photobusta dates from that first release of "A Shot in the Dark" i n 1964. This film poster pictures the stylish and humorous cartoon images at the top of the film poster and in the title typography. The poster has the benefit of the original Italian perforated ID number. Printed in Italy by Policrom of Roma, this great survivor has a vertical fold line, pinholes in the corners and centre borders as seen plus a historic tape mark.
