Surviving from 1964 is this front of house cinema lobby card for the first Beatles film "A Hard Day's Night" made in black and white and picturing the fantastic television concert finale with the Beatles finally performing their live broadcast. Director Richard Lester deliberately keeps the large vintage television studio cameras in the scene together with the "EMI" logo on their sides. Ringo Starr is pictured behind his Ludwig drum kit, while John, Paul and Geroge play their guitars.A wonderfully constructed card to advertise this critically acclaimed film. Printed in England by Waterlow and Sons ltd with no pinholes.
