A Distant Trumpet

Superb cavalry western artwork complete with Indians in a fierce battle scene as painted by artist Frank McCarthy whose printed signature can be found at the lower left of the painting. Distinguished director Raoul Walsh respects the dignity of the Indians and the film even includes native language and subtitles. Printed by Stafford & Co. of Nottingham and London this folded film poster from 1964 for "A Distant Trumpet" displays really well and does not even have any pinholes. Red biro on reverse that does not show through to front, a matchstick head size hole on the centre fold.
