| Details | This rare Powell and Pressburger British Quad film poster for "The Battle of the River Plate" was printed by Charles & Read of Harlow and London. The painting of the scene and the two main protagonists was by the Great British artist Eric Pulford complete with artists printed signature. This fine old 1956 first release country of origin film poster is in folded condition as issued to the cinema and has many pinholes including on the artwork together with archival restoration tape squares in different positions to reinforce on the reverse where required including a small tip at the bottom right corner of paper restoration. The colours are very deep and the poster displays very well. |
