Condition of Posters

Every poster is unique, every poster has a character that is reflected in it's condition. Remember these are original posters - they have survived a number of years and they bear the physical evidence of their life experience.

Nearly all posters have folds due to the folding machine which lay at the end of the printing process run.

Condition is expressed as follows: Grade A : Excellent condition for their age. There may be pinholes or tears. There may be minor splits along the folds. The artwork will be largely undamaged with the border having borne the worst of the wear. Grade B : There may be tears in areas other than the border which may extend onto the artwork. Grade C : There may be paper loss which can easily be noticed. There may be fading or restoration.

Every piece of art is priced according to it's condition. The photograph in the website is always of the actual poster for sale (it is not to scale). All dimensions are approximate and condition is always a subject to opinion.
