The Guns of Navarone

"The Guns of Navarone" was based on Alistair Maclean's best selling novel about a brave commando raid to take out two enormous German guns wreaking havoc with British shipping. Gregory Peck is painted as the leader of the mission together with Anthony Quinn and David Niven. This folded film poster was printed in England by Stafford & Co. Ltd of Netherfield, Nottingham & London with a Columbia Pictures logo at the lower right meaning it dates from the early 1960's. There is a date written on the back in red biro "15th June 1966" indicating that it was shown on that date. This early release film poster has striking artwork with no fading. There are small holes in the cross section fold lines at the middle and left centre and lower of one match stick head size and two for the lower.
