Henri Charriere's autobiographical account of his escape from Devil's Island is amazing material for McQueen and Hoffman to work with. They are the focus of the poster as single minded determination is explored as they plot their escape from the island. Wonderful acting performances. The minty green background colour to this one really brings out the gritty realism of McQueen and Hoffman's portraits by Tom Jung featuring the artists printed signature by the chains around Steve McQueen's neck. Folded condition as issued to the Lyndon cinema in Devon. Slight edge wear at top centre as seen.
