My Fair Lady

This is the first release 1964 release film poster for "My Fair Lady" as shown at the ABC cinema chain in Great Britain. The film poster artwork features the printed signature of the artist Bob Peak and has extraordinary detail of many scenes from the film together with a delightful central painting of Audrey Hepburn together with Rex Harrison. The Rex Publicity limited London printing features at the bottom left and as was usual at the time this one was printed by Leonard Ripley & co of London S.E.11 and is printed on a heavier card. The colours are very vibrant and the history of the poster reveals a black fountain pen ink mark at the bottom right border together with a few marks as seen mainly on the white border.
