Frenzy

First release 1972 British quad film poster for the Alfred Hitchcock directed thriller "Frenzy". The artwork takes Hitchcock back in time with a "Vertigo" look as we are shown a neck tie murderer causing havoc in London. This clever film went down well with critics. The film poster was printed in England by W. E. Berry of Bradford. Always a difficult poster to find in perfect condition and this one has a few flaws notably two faint water stain marks at the top and bottom centre margin, four pinholes at the top corners with two at the bottom corners. There is a very slight red mark underneath the word 'shocking' where the ink from the 'Y' opposite has imprinted following the poster being on the folding machine a mite too soon before it was sent to the cinema on top of the tin with the film in as was the custom.
