Powerful poster design which locks you right in to the subject matter. Sue Lloyd is used cleverly in a pillar box style to suggest the viewer looking in and keen to focus in on all the action. Michael Caine is pictured as Harry Palmer taking aim with loaded gun. Producer Harry Saltzman came up with the Harry Palmer name and cast the virtually unknown Michael Caine in the role. The film was to be a rival to the James Bond films and went on to include three further cinema films plus two more straight to TV. Interesting bright colours on the film poster which also features scenes from the film. The film poster has the added benefit of a franked stamp at the lower right together with details of the cinema "Cine Leopold". Printed by J. Lichtert & fils. Bruxelles 7. The film poster has no pinholes with two historic tape marks at the top border as seen.
