We are not sure of the exact date of this card but it looks to us to be either 1950s. This magnificent full colour large cinema lobby card pictures Scarlet O'Hara played by Vivien Leigh in an iconic white ruffled dress with white peacocks on the lawn establishing the grand idyllic setting of the plantation before the civil war. This rare lobby card was used by Metro Goldwyn Mayer to promote the grandeur of the film. We have not seen this card before and they were purchased from us direct from the cinema owner. The film remains for all time one of the greatest love stories.
