| Details | Awesome 1964 science fiction film poster artwork for a much acclaimed film shot by the Director of "War of the Worlds" with California's Death Valley reflecting the barron landscape of the red planet. Paul Mantee is pictured as the astronaut rescuing the alien from the slave ship. Mona, the woolly monkey is painted faithfully clinging on to the back of the astronaut and also appearing in the film credits on the poster! (Adam West plays Col Dan McReady in the film but has no credit on the film poster but still going on undeterred in the Batman TV series and on the big screen in the role two years later.) This is a rare film poster. |
