| Details | Robert Tanenbaum is the talented artist who first painted Tamara Dobson as Cleopatra Jones in a solo pose having dressed a model in a similar outfit to get the required pose. Columbia-Warner requested then additional action scenes and also another painting of Tamara Dobson as you can see here dressed in the green. The artist was very happy with this as it was another job and another finished piece that would be used in the poster. Robert Tanenbaum experimented substituting dark shadows for gold highlights since 'gold' was a part of the movie title "Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold". The film poster does a great job in bringing together the crime element, action and Kung Fu fighting with a Hong Kong helicopter, roulette wheel, playing cards, motorbike sidecar action and fight scenes. This film poster just goes to highlight the dedication of the artist and the attention to detail that makes film poster collecting such a great hobby. Deep colours with printing by Lonsdale & Bartholomew. Five small thin pieces of masking tape to the reverse, one of which can be seen at the right border edge and another faint one on the sail of the junk and the rim of the roulette wheel with a couple at the bottom border edge.
