| Details | Jacqueline is a 1956 British drama film shot in Belfast and directed by Roy Ward Baker. Jacqueline pictured lower right is played by Jacqueline Ryan. Her real life mom co-stars as her mother in the film whilst her father in the film is played by John Gregson who plays a shipyard worker losing his job because of his vertigo. Based on the novel "A Grand Man" by Catherine Cookson, Jacqueline sets out to get her dad a farm job. The film poster bears the Maltese censor stamp and has many interesting Malta cinema names written in pencil on the back - State, Melody, Palladium, Trianon Majestic etc. Please note the poster has many pinholes which have been reinforced with archival tape to reverse.
