| Details | Snow white and the seven dwarfs are painted in glorious full colour at the top central image of this British quad cinema poster. This is a really happy poster with brightly coloured stars and musical notes plus pictures of Snow White being carried by Prince Charming and at the foot we have the seven dwarfs humorously riding reindeer and chasing the wicked witch. This film was made in 1937 and the quality of the artwork on this 1951 film poster for sale here many consider the finest for the film. Arguably one of the best British posters for any Walt Disney film, this one has old historical tape marks in the borders as seen which we think add to the charm. There are five small areas of paper lift at the bottom right where a cinema manager added a snipe and there is a show time red loosely attached notice which has felt tip details under. This is a truly authentic cinema used Snow White poster which has survived with really deep full colours and it is a folded paper poster as supplied to the cinema in 1951. |
