Details The printed signature "Chantrell" appears on this 1973 MGM film poster with Anthony Quinn painted as the cowboy who cannot speak or hear "Deaf Smith & Johnny Ears". Johnny is painted next to him in a pill box style similar to "The Longest Day". Other trade mark scenes include the painting of Pamela Tiffin in a state of undress and Franco Nero with shooting gun with Anthony Quinn firing a machine gun. It was unusual for Tom Chantrell to paint MGM film posters but he was freelance at this point and able to choose his jobs! Folded condition with some tape support at the rear in places and some tape marks at the front as seen. Biro writing and pencil on the reverse.
