| Details | Set in 1950's America Jim Carrey is a black listed Hollywood screenwriter who while drunk and really sad drives his car off a bridge and then suffers from amnesia. Martin Landau has lost his missing soldier son and Carrey has a remarkable resemblance and is mistaken for the son. Martin Landau is the owner of the town's Majestic cinema and Jim Carrey helps the town in reviving the cinema.
