| Details | Seven large cinema front of house lobby cards for the film "The Big Job" from 1965. These came directly to us from a cinema in New Zealand and were later used for the film on its re-release where it was advertised as "Carry on Crooks" and six of the photos have a sticker with this as the main title at the foot. The director Gerald Thomas was of course the director for the very first Carry on Film "Carry on Sergeant " and the popularity of the series which has lasted for decades meant that the Carry on tag-line was a bonus. The photos picture Sid James as the leader of a gang of incompetent crooks and he is accompanied by many of the Carry on stars. The cards have a Wellington stamp on the reverse and multiple pinholes in the corners. There are one or two nicks in the borders. |
