| Details | This first release stone litho printed film poster from 1970 for "Ryan's Daughter" pictures the wonderful Irish scenery of the Dingle peninsular. This romantic epic was a year in the making and pictures Sarah Miles as Rosie who marries a village teacher and then has an affair with a shell shocked British officer. Misunderstood at the time but now considered a masterpiece this wonderful film poster has a moody cinematic image that does credit to this love story from director David Lean. This was released five years after "Doctor Zhivago". The film poster has a small section trimmed off the bottom and has historic tape marks at the corners. |
