| Details | Extremely rare British quad film poster from the first release in 1968. Steve McQueen is pictured centrally as the maverick cop "Bullitt" together with two of the best photos from the film picturing a soirée with Jacqueline Bisset together with a scene from the famous San Francisco hill bouncing car chase. This is the Review style quad which has hardly ever turned up - we only know of one other one. The reviews make great reading and are from the British newspapers of the day including The Guardian, The Observer, The Daily Mirror, Sunday Express and more. "Bullitt" was the film which made Steve McQueen internationally famous and the pose here rates as one of his best. The colours on the film poster are very strong. The poster has two small pinholes at the top right and left corner with one each at the bottom corners. There is a tiny paper infill at the bottom border edge with a few tiny closed tears there. Across the centre fold line on the right hand side there has been a large 12 1/2 inch closed tear as seen which has been repaired to the reverse with a thin section of archival restoration tape. A film poster like this is a real piece of cinema history which is very rarely available and this one is fresh to the market. |
