| Details | This is the rarer style B version of 'Grease' printed by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham. The title typography is often overlooked but on closer inspection includes a clever styling of the letterset form the base, wheels and shape of a convertible sports car with the simple "Is the Word" reinforcement to the title and soundtrack which is also advertised with a picture. The main body features the joyous dancing scene at Rydell high school gym. This folded first release cinema poster from 1978 has just a few blemishes at the top border as seen. |
