| Details | This very early British Quad bears the printers name Stafford & Co. Ltd Netherfield, Nottingham and London. Together with the old Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo and no mention of the eleven Oscars which the film went on to be awarded. We believe this to be a first release and can truly be called an epic as over 300 sets were constructed including an 18 acre chariot arena which took a thousand people a year to build and contained 8,000 extras for the famous chariot race at the climax of the film. A great film poster in excellent condition. |
