| Details | Cinema managers often used to cut-out images from the original Quad cinema posters to make displays inside the lobby to attract cinema goers. These were often used in areas of the cinema where there was not room for a full 40 x 30 inch image. In areas for example like the cinema restaurant. Here we have the main Sixties re-release cut-outs for "The Colditz Story" - The great POW WW2 film set in the infamous German fortress of the title. These cut-outs are on the original paper, loose for you to make your own display or maybe you could send them to a restorer like Studio C to be made into the poster again - the choice is yours. |
