The artist has captured perfectly the bleak prison cell with all the fine detail which the Brendan Behan play "The Quare Fellow" deserves. The title is Irish slang for prisoners on death row and this is an anti hanging film with Patrick McGoohan playing the lead role as a prison warder who does not believe in hanging due to his personal experiences. This is a fine British Lion film released through Bryanston & BLC and the poster features their logos. |
