| Details | John Carpenter's impressive feature debut. This Great British artwork reveals the cyrogenic freezer as the hippie spacemen conduct their 20 year mission to seek out and destroy unstable planets. The tagline "Bombed out in Space." heralds this parody on "2001: A Space Odyssey" but Carpenter introduces a frightening alien stowaway, a troublesome, nagging computer and a thermo-nuclear device set to explode at any time. Great trend setting science-fiction horror. Terrific artwork by Tom Chantrell who went on to paint Star Wars three years later. This film poster comes in wonderful rolled condition. |
