| Details | "You never met a pair like Butch and the Kid" is the tagline on this film poster from the year 1969. Portrayed brilliantly as two lovable rogues and ultimately two tragic heroes Paul Newman is Butch Cassidy and Robert Redford is the Sundance Kid earning their place in cinema history. A landmark film of the Sixties and enjoyable for the witty script of William Goldman, the luminous photography of Conrad Hall and the music score of Burt Bacharach. Painted by Tom Beauvais this film poster captures the key moments of the film. This poster has a repaired one inch tear at the bottom central border, a two inch repaired tear in the right border and a few areas of paper-loss in the border, most notably in the bottom right corner at the end of "Printing by Lonsdale & Bartholomew of Nottingham." There is also a bleed where "Butch C" has been written in felt on the back of the poster, under "One piece of baggage" on the left, because this is on the shadowed building wall part of the artwork it is difficult to spot and these imperfections would be less noticeable if the poster were framed.
