| Details | The very first British Quad by Arnaldo Putzu.The artist carried out this commission whilst living in Italy. He would later move to London to work with Fratini and Pulford. Wonderful use of shade to create the mood of the piece. This was also a debutorial direction for Clive Donner who went on to such diverse works as The Caretaker and What's New Pussycat? This is one that we brought back from Malta and has a Malta stamp on the bottom right near the title. |
