| Details | This super first release 1965 film poster for "The Ipcress File" is by the artist Jano and hails from Spain. Michael Caine is painted superbly in the role of Harry Palmer with a sexy Sue Lloyd seated cross legged sporting a hand gun. The spy novel was written by Len Deighton and producer Harry Saltzman came up with the name Harry Palmer and cast a then unknown Michael Caine in a calculated way to appeal to fans of James Bond. John Barry added the mesmeric film score. This fragile film poster was printed on thin paper and we have placed a little restoration tape where splits needed reinforcement along a few fold lines to the reverse. |
