| Details | This is a 1959 poster. The release of "The Fly" was in colour in 1958. "Return of the Fly" was in black and white in 1959. This poster is for the release of "Return of the Fly" with the re-release of "The Fly" The artwork is specially drawn with the fly from the 1959 movie and the lady from the 1958 film depicted together to celebrate the first showing of the films together. Because the poster was commissioned for the release of "Return of the Fly" in black and white there is a small "Color" label applied to the double-bill to accommodate "The Fly" |
